A lot of black people hate BET and believe it is bad for black people. And I do identify as female and am very proud to. Just not my kind of music. More bothered by the use of the word "rock" to decribe pop artists.

I guess BET is trying to be more diverse which causes the network to be extremely corny.
And they use the word rock to say, black girls are cool too. But its kinda sad that there's a televised event just to tell people that black girls are cool. But I still liked it.
