Also, keep in mind that 'chunky' can still be unhealthy. Especially if you have a sedentary lifestyle. Cholesterol levels and sugar levels must be taken into consideration.

The Kinect features "Your Shape Evolved" which is a REAL workout and perfect for gamers.

Thank you for the great advice. I don't have an xbox at the moment. So what other excercises do you recommend?

Well, your dad taught you a lot in life didn't he? I'd trust his best judgement

Yeah. He taught me what all a young woman needs to know. :/

Fact: It's better to exercise in the mourning than in the evening. Heart rate continues even after cool-down time so exercising in the evening could result in insomnia.

Do Cardio workouts at your own pace is important.
Just as long as you put a decent amount of time and heart-rate.

The Wii features Wii-Fit which is an easy paced exercise routine, perfect for those who don't wish to go to gyms.

It's just important to just 'move'. But 'move' safely and in control.

Dancing is the BEST way to express this exercise in a very entertaining way.

If it appeals to you, take a dance class.

Zumba, Hip Hop, Belly-Dancing. whatever, if you're having fun that's all that matters.

Even standing in place while twisting your hips and torso for a solid 20 minutes will get your belly off.

Buy a simple multi-vitamin suited for women and moderately drink your water while exercising.

I personally find a Coconut Oil pill gives me the boost of energy I crave instead of caffeine, but ask your doctor first.

I walk a mile every morning and I do treadmill and water aerobics. What are some other excercises that will help tone the tummy and go easy on the lower back and knees? As far as vitamins I take OptiSource chewable vitamins. Also protein. What is the best protein supplement? What do you recommend?

Well, I play with toys too from time to time, I even bought recently some "Bionicle" toys,

I play games too, and see it as hobby,

I read spider-man comics regularly,

I still watch cartoons and some Anime too, but mostly read mangas

I guess I am a nerd too, and as you I am proud too :)

What is ur favorite manga? I wanted to read the Kingdom Hearts Manga, but I think I'm going to start with Hellsing. Since I like vampires and such.

You don't need a protein supplement unless directed by your doctor.
You just need to eat eggs, nuts, and lean meats.
Almonds especially are good. High in fiber.

Concentrated powders are usually not from reputable sources. Also, it's not good to eat too much dairy in general. They add just too many hormones. And if you read carefully, they 'do' legally inform you of the stuff they put in milk. it's just very vague. Like...."Not made from 'artificial' growth hormones". What the Hell does Artificial Growth Hormones mean? That means they must use "Natural" Growth Hormones.

A calcium pill works just fine and veggies contain plenty of vitamins. Just be sure to wash them really well even if they are organic.

Also, DANCING is really fun. But just simple swimming laps does a whole body toning and belly off. Just keep active. Body toning is all about aerobics. But swimming is easiest on lower back and knees.

Supplements aren't something that should be a primary concern.
They do help just a little, but the basic diet and exercise helps the best.

Just keep at it and it'll build up your metabolism naturally.
Although I'm sure Coconut Oil, Green Tea, and Fish Oil really works at that.
But ask your doctor first.

Last year I had WLS. And since I can't eat as much I have to take a lot of supplements. I can't consume a lot of protein, so that's why asked about protein supps. I do take fish oil, and B1 and Magnesium. I do eat eggs every day. I have another question though. We all need fat in our diets. What fats are more healthy?

Since you asked, Black Cat is my favourite manga, I only saw some of the anime episodes of Hellsing, surely a good series.

What is black cat about?

Obviously you should avoid animal fat.

Chicken skin and fat from red meat and pork are bad for your overall health.
Keep that to a minimum.

But as I mentioned before, natural fat can be found in nuts and eggs as well as fish.
Fish provides good fat as do most nuts.

I personally believe Coconut to be a good saturated fat as long as consumption is kept to a minimal.

But fat means nothing without exercise. Fat is energy but too much fat can make you inactive.

But for some reason I feel more active when I take 1 tsp of coconut oil every day.
There's something about it that metabolically helps.
But consult your doctor first.

Now obviously you don't have to rely on my posts for information.

I get all my information from the following websites.

PubMed.gov
<a href="http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/">http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/</a>

You should also go to Women's Health
<a href="http://www.womenshealthmag.com/">http://www.womenshealthmag.com/</a>

But animal protein isn't as important as veggies.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8teAABsnTmM">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8teAAB snTmM</a>
So a protein supplement is actually not as beneficial as you think.
Beans and nuts and fish are the best sources of protein.
Animal fat should be eaten in lesser amounts than you think.

And a good way to establish eating habits is to use the 80% full feeling.
"Eat till you feel 80% full. Then STOP!"

I Thank you so much for your help and advice. I'm going to apply everything to healthier lifestyle. Thanks ^_^
